This nicely remodeled older home is imperfect and even a bit pleasantly quirky, yet the owner has made it classy and comfortable in many ways. It makes you feel like your vacation dollars were well spent with the quality of everything from the beds, linens, and towels to the abundance of supplies one might need but hadn’t thought of. Loved the towel warmer! Perfect for those brave enough to try the cold plunge in the unique Biergarten or just looking for a little luxury after a shower. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful, can’t beat the location with restaurants, shopping, and park within walking distance. Elizabeth was friendly and proactively attentive to making sure her guests are in need of nothing, highly recommended rental.

We truly loved staying here. The courtyard was such a treat. It felt like a private outdoor oasis. The grinder for fresh coffee was amazing! This place was beautiful and clean and would stay here again if we go to the area.

We had a wonderful stay at Elizabeth’s! My wife and I took our 5 month old daughter and it was so peaceful and beautiful. We went to nearby wineries, walked to coffee and breakfast each morning and just had an overall 10/10 experience. Elizabeth was very responsive and made everything very easy for us

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay! The outdoor/indoor gathering area was a favorite to catch up visiting together. The location is easy access to the downtown area and we took full advantage of restaurants and shops. Elizabeth always answered promptly if we had a question and was very personable. Our beds were very comfortable and the bathroom accommodations were great too. We’d definitely recommend Lone Star Lokal to anyone traveling in the area and already have.

Elizabeth’s house was a perfect place for our families and kiddos to unwind after a day in Blanco! The outdoor space is terrific! Walkable to a coffee shop in the morning. Highly recommend!

Great House combining old school Johnson City and modern features (kitchen appliances, washer/dryer, TVs, etc.). The outdoor private courtyard separates the house from other rentals. We spend most of our time in the courtyard in front of the fire pit, TV or in the cold plunge. The location serves as a good home base for all the activities in that TX Hill County has to offer. Elizabeth was a great host and responsive to my inquiries. Highly recommend the rental.

This is the second time our family stayed at Elizabeth’s place! She is an incredible host, the home is pristine and in a wonderful location. Can’t wait to come back, again!
